2013 will be the year of change.  Not only are we focusing upon Church Health encouraging our families and individuals to “live up to their potential” in the LORD, but to see the outworking of that in real internal and external growth of the local Church.  When any Church is Spiritually Healthy, that Church will Grow.  In 2013 our Ministry Directors are instituting S.M.A.R.T. Question: “Does the warning in Revelation 22:18-19 apply to the entire Bible or just the Book of Revelation?”

Answer: Revelation 22:18-19 contains a warning to anyone who tampers with the biblical text: “For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book. And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.” The question is whether these verses refer to the whole Bible or just the Book of Revelation.

This warning is given specifically to those who distort the message of the Book of Revelation. Jesus Himself is the Author of Revelation and the giver of the vision to the apostle John (Revelation 1:1). As such, He concludes the book with a confirmation of His testimony to the finality of the prophecies contained in Revelation. These are His words, and He warns against distorting them in any way, whether through additions, subtractions, falsifications, alterations, or intentional misinterpretations. The warning is explicit and dire. The plagues of Revelation will be visited upon anyone guilty of tampering in any way with the revelations in the book, and those who dare to do so will have no part in eternal life in heaven.

Although the warning in Revelation 22:18-19 is specific to the Book of Revelation, the principle applies to anyone who seeks to intentionally distort God’s Word. Moses gave a similar warning in Deuteronomy 4:1-2, where he cautioned the Israelites that they must listen to and obey the commandments of the Lord, neither adding to nor taking away from His revealed Word. Proverbs 30:5-6 contains a similar admonition to anyone who would add to God’s words: he will be rebuked and proven to be a liar. Although the warning in Revelation 22:18-19 applies specifically to the Book of Revelation, its principle must be applied to the entire revealed Word of God. We must be careful to handle the Bible with care and reverence so as to not distort its message.

Jesus Said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature… Go and make Disciples in all nations, Baptizing them in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit…”  the Great Commission.  Jesus was a Missionary to this world, making it possible for everyone to experience Salvation and Transformation, and ultimately Heaven.  We who have been so blessed, also desire to encourage, mentor, and assist those who are suffering, around the world, as the LORD directs.  We involve ourselves in reaching out to people, weekly in our own community.  We reach out and also in…into people’s lives, as they open up their hearts, and express their desire to be changed by God, and to be empowered to live for Him.  We are heavily involved with the country of Ghana, in Africa, providing ministerial training, and discipleship tools, as we partner with the ministry:  www.livingfree.org.  We look forward to bringing in a medical team in Africa, as the LORD opens up the door.  We minister monthly to those in our community by providing food.  Each times we accomplish our “mission,”  we recognize that we are involved in His Great Commission, whether it be here at home, or far away in a rural place like Mankwadze, in Ghana, Africa.  It’s all about Jesus!   Less of us, and MORE of HIM!

“2012 Relief”

“…that this past year has brought… much attack from Satan and Buffeting from Storms upon us. Many have suffered severely during this past season. But, I feel in my spirit that God has closed that door, and that season is passed. Now, God is going to bring a release and relief for the Faithful Servants of the Most High God. Because you have been faithful during these trying times, God will let us reap what we have sown, now in a good Harvest Season. He is going to bring true Miracles this year to you, your family, His Church, and this Community. His very Power will be seen by many lost, and they will be saved, and come to be discipled THIS YEAR.”
